Indulge and explore one of the oldest cities in the United States, Boston Massachusetts. A city rich in culture, Boston was the scene of many key events in American history, including the American Revolution, Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party, Battle of Bunker Hill and Siege of Boston. This thriving port city is considered to be a world leader in innovation and entrepreneurship.

At the heart of the city, is the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. A AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five-Star award recipient, this luxury 5-star hotel is a top-rated property in Boston. Located on the vibrant Boylston Street, the Mandarin Oriental provides a popular location central to great shopping and restaurants. It is positioned in Back Bay, a historical neighborhood, which houses antique architecture and churches. Top sights such as Newbury Street, Copley Place and the Boston Marathon Finish Line can be seen from its residence. With a 3.7-mile proximity to the Logan International Airport, you could not ask for better placement!

Our family enjoyed a beautiful second stay at this luxury hotel and were greeted with a welcome beverage as we set foot in the stylish lobby. The kids were delighted by the creative and family-friendly welcome in our room. Tents were set up in the living room space stock with stuffed animals and themed snacks. It was the perfect “glamping (glam camping) sleepover” for us all! Our room was stylish, with a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere. The beds had modern down bedding, whirlpool tubs for relaxation, and even fireplaces.

The Mandarin Oriental boasted a large fitness center offering yoga and pilates classes, a tranquil and upscale Spa, and a polished lounge serving champagne and afternoon tea.

One of our favorite experiences during our stay, was the chic French bistro located on site. The Bar Boulud, founded by internationally acclaimed Chef Daniel Boulud, specialized in classic brasserie fare. This French-inspired bistro and oyster has award-winning sister restaurants in both New York and England. With vaulted ceilings, walls fashioned from wine crates, a glass enclosed wine cellar, and a 7-seat raw bar, this restaurant was a site that could not be missed!

Brunch at the Bar Boulud

We indulged in Boston’s culinary scene enjoying New England inspired dishes during brunch. Some local favorites include the lobster scramble, consisting on French-style scrambled eggs, fine herbs, poached main lobster and brioche toast, and the steak frites.

We look forward to another luxury stay with delicious, local food in the heart of it all, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Boston!
