American bartender, author and co-owner of Brooklyn-based restaurant and bar, Leyenda, Ivy Mix, joins us to discuss her new book, Spirits of Latin America, an in-depth travelogue and recipe catalogue, inspired by her travels. She’ll also be shaking things up with a cocktail demo for us, too (see ingredients below to make one along with her)!
Since the Wilsons in Wanderland Book Clubis currently reading Chanel Cleeton’s The Last Train to Key West– which despite its prominent Florida Keys setting, also has to do with Cuba- Ivy will be crafting up a Key West/Cuban-inspired drink, a Hemingway, that we can sip as we read!
